On September 14, 2026, the University of Winnipeg honoured Geraldine “Gramma” Shingoose (right), Viv Ketchum (second from right), Barb Guimond (middle), Mary Starr (second from left) and Dawnis Kennedy (left?) in a “Blanket Ceremony”. In this ceremony, Tre Deleronde, dressed in combat fatigues and standing behind, characterized himself as the “Protector of the grand mothers of knowledge keepers”.
Tre Deleronde also has some connections to the University of Manitoba. At 1:53, Niigaan Sinclair approaches Deleronde and says that he is doing “praiseworthy work”. Sinclair goes on to state that if Delerond ever wants anything, such as a airplane ticket, he should let him know because he has “funds at the university to help out with stuff”.

Dawnis Kennedy, who was evidently the person on the left honoured with a blanket (according to Louise Menow), supported the assaults on September 26, 2025.
Viv Ketchum claims that she instigated the assaults against Widdowson because of how Mary Starr, the “grand mother” second from the left honoured at the “blanket ceremony”, was treated at the University of Manitoba on September 25, 2025.
The “treatment” that Mary Starr received is shown below. Her intervention starts to begin at timestamp 8:59.
Barb Guimond was also present at both universities and was verbally abusive at the University of Manitoba on September 25, 2025.
Her “incinerators” claim was repeated on September 14, 2026 after the blanket ceremony.
In response to Widdowson’s question about evidence, Guimond responded with the following:
Because of the harassment, intimidation, assaults, and property damage and theft that Widdowson endured at the University of Manitoba and University of Winnipeg on September 25 and 26, 2025, and the breakdown of civilization that followed, she characterized these “grand mothers” and their gangster enablers and associates as the “Winnipeg Zombie Apocalypse”. This is because these people are like automatons in their inability to have any rational discussion about the residential schools.
The blanket ceremony was “witnessed” by Louise Menow, who also assaulted Widdowson on September 26, 2025.
It was also witnessed by Skye McLean, who vandalized Widdowson’s Spectrum Street Epistemology mats on September 26, 2025.
Widdowson’s attempts to hold the people who assaulted her and Daniel Page (Widdowson’s videographer) to account resulted in George Robinson, the husband of Melissa Robinson (the screeching woman who helped to push Daniel Page off campus on September 26, 2025), distributing the following poster.
