On September 17 and 18, 2026, Frances Widdowson travelled to Winnipeg. In the morning, she met University of Lethbridge professor emeritus Anthony Hall in the Calgary airport.

At the time, Widdowson was unaware that The University of Winnipeg had put out a notice to “students, faculty, and staff” about her possibly visiting the campus. The notice states that “Widdowson has caused disruption on our campus in the past and continues to harass UWinnipeg Indigenous students, faculty and staff, as well as local Indigenous residential and day school survivors and community members who are our partners in Reconciliation”. Widdowson did not “cause” the disruption; the disruption was “caused” by Indigenization activists and their gangster associates assaulting numerous people. Also Widdowson’s “harassment” consisted of publicizing the fact, on her own Facebook page, that Dawnis Kennedy, Skye McLean, Viv Ketchum, Geraldine Shingoose, Louise Menow, Tre Deleronde, Melissa Robinson, Ben Gavel, and numerous others either assaulted Widdowson, Daniel Page, Gary, and others or actively supported these actions.

Hall and Widdowson arrived in Winnipeg at about 11:00 a.m..

Widddowson and Hall met up with Gary and then went to Stella’s for lunch, which is evidently in a building owned by the University of Winnipeg. There they looked at the Sean Carleton and Niigaan Sinclair (eds) volume.

When Gary and Widdowson left Hall at Stella’s to do a “walk and talk” at the University of Winnipeg to document the areas where they were assaulted the previous year on September 26, 2025, they were accosted by “Josh” the security guard who stood down and did nothing while everyone was assaulted. Widdowson then told Josh that she didn’t listen to anything that The University of Winnipeg said, sinced they had honoured the assaulters Shingoose and Ketchum on September 14. She said that they would need to call the police if they wanted her to respond to any dictates. As the police never arrived on September 26, 2025, in spite of eight 9-1-1 calls being made, Widdowson wanted to test whether two-tiered policing existed in Winnipeg.
Last year, on September 26, 2025, Daniel Page called for help numerous times from security, when he feared for his life. You can see the assaults that he, Widdowson and others endured at the time stamps below:
17:18-23:30 (Melissa Robinson manhandles Daniel Page); 29:02 (gangsters push Page off campus); 30:11 (gangsters push Page off campus); 32:21 (gangsters push Page off campus); 34:51 (Page is forcibly confined); 41:14 (Page is forcibly confined); 43:44-44:16 (blue shirt security guard standing down); 48:06 (Gary calls the police).
48:35-50:51 (Daniel Page is manhandled by a gangster while he calls for security to help him); 1:07:28 (Melissa Robinson celebrates the forcible confinement of Daniel Page); 1:11:07 (Daniel Page pleads with security to help him); 1:15:00-1:15:42 (Gloria asks security to help); 1:22:41 (security standing doing nothing); 1:23:59 (security standing doing nothing); 1:31:02 (the intimidation of Widdowson begins); 1:53:02 (Page talks to Gloria about how he was assaulted); 1:54:31 (Page talking to Gloria); 2:47:24 (Page talks to APTN about the assaults).
The police, in spite of not showing up on September 26, 2025, arrived after about 30 minutes with eight police officers and three cruisers. After the police agreed that they were not obligated to enforce The University of Winnipeg’s trespass order, they decided to enforce it in spite of Widdowson not posing a threat or disrupting university operations. Widdowson was given a $672 ticket. Widdowson states that ticket will never be paid.
