On September 17 and 18, 2026, Frances Widdowson travelled to Winnipeg. In the morning, she met University of Lethbridge professor emeritus Anthony Hall in the Calgary airport.
Hall and Widdowson flew to Winnipeg.
Widddowson and Hall met up with Gary and then went to Stella’s for lunch, which is evidently in a building owned by the University of Winnipeg. There they looked at the Sean Carleton and Niigaan Sinclair (eds) volume.
When Gary and Widdowson left Hall at Stella’s to do a “walk and talk” at the University of Winnipeg to document the areas where they were assaulted the previous year on September 26, 2025, they were accosted by “Josh” the security guard who stood down and did nothing while everyone was assaulted. Widdowson then told Josh that she didn’t listen to anything that The University of Winnipeg said, and they would need to call the police if they wanted her to respond to any dictates.
Last year, on September 26, 2025, Daniel Page called for help numerous times from security, when he feared for his life. You can see the assaults he, Widdowson and others endured at at time stamps below:

After the police agreed that they were not obligated to enforce The University of Winnipeg’s trespass order, they decided to enforce it in spite of Widdowson not posing a threat or disrupting university operations. Widdowson was given a $672 ticket. Widdowson states that ticket will never be paid.
