Mount Royal University Burns More Public Funding

On February 3, 2026, Mount Royal University decided that it would ask for leave to appeal the Alberta Labour Relations Board’s decision. This will add tens of thousands of dollars more of public funding to contest the only just result for the #FrancesWiddowsonCase – that Frances Widdowson must be reinstated at Mount Royal University.
