Level 2 documents are the tier of second most important documents in the #FrancesWiddowsonCase. Level 1, the most important document, is Arbitrator Jones’ decision (available here). MRU made its final submission to Arbitrator Jones on January 16, 2024. This outlined MRU’s case against Widdowson as to why she was fired. This was the first time that MRU stated its case, and the Hope investigation findings were reduced from eight Tweets and one Facebook post to six Tweets (stated in item 155 of the final submission). The MRFA’s reply to MRU’s final submission is available here.
The MRFA (Widdowson’s union) made also its final submission to Arbitrator Jones on January 16, 2024. MRU’s reply to the MRFA’s final submission is available here.
The only documentation of the change in MRU’s case with respect to the Lindstrom complaint is found in the MRFA January 16, 2024 submission on page 70 paragraph 391. It was during Widdowson’s testimony in October 2023 that MRU noted that it believed that only the two November 7, 2020 Tweets were considered to be harassing (Rence referred to “tweets mentioning GL”.
