On December 20, 2021, Frances Widdowson was terrorized by a number of administrators after hours. She was ambushed outside an exam she was invigilating, and there was an attempt to forcibly confine her in a classroom at about 5:30 p.m. A group of administrators then followed her to her office and placed two security guards at either end of the hall. As Widdowson thought that she would be blocked from leaving and have her exams forcibly taken from her without union representation, she ended up calling 9-1-1. Here is a recording of her account of these events, made the next morning in front of Mount Royal Faculty Association representatives.
