It is timely for universities to (i) document the costs of their DEI initiatives (ii) measure the improvements? (a.k.a impacts positive and/or negative) of their DEI initiatives. (iii) based upon (i) and (ii) make an objective decision whether the cost justifies the DEI initiatives.
Perhaps provincial funding sources could validate the results and “aid” in the decision by altering funding formulae.
