On X on May 21, 2025, Michelle Stirling, Jim McMurtry and Frances Widdowson will be discussing the Kamloops case and the documentary that is being produced about it “Gave Error at Kamloops”. The X Space is hosted by Greg Wycliffe, a free speech advocate in Toronto.
Widdowson was wrongfully terminated from Mount Royal University because she satirized the idea that the residential schools were genocidal.
Widdowson is a contributor to the book Grave Error, but her work about the Kamloops case is available on the website of The American Conservative.
Widdowson will also be presenting a paper on “Criminalizing ‘Residential School Denialism'” at the Canadian Political Science Association conference on June 5, 2025.
